A free-to-attend online event about the successes and experiences of Scottish fertility clinics, taking place today (Wednesday 18 November 2020) from 5.30pm-7pm (GMT).
Figures compiled by the UK's fertility regulator - the HFEA - show that in recent years, Scottish fertility clinics have collectively achieved higher success rates (live births per embryo transfer) and lower multiple birth rates than fertility clinics in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This event will explore how Scotland's success has been achieved, and what can be learned from it.
The event will be chaired by Sarah Norcross, with speakers including Sally Cheshire, Colin Sinclair, Dr Abha Maheshwari and Gwenda Burns. Find out more about the speakers and chair here.
This event is produced by the Progress Educational Trust (PET) in partnership with the Scottish Government.
Attendees will not be audible or visible during this online event, but will still be able to put questions and comments to the speakers and chair, via a Q&A tool within Zoom Video Webinars.
